The Soles brand, which signs our pellets, places sustainability and customer orientation at the heart of its activities. Company owners who built the project in Kočevje, are having more than 15 years of experiences with planning buildings built in wood. Wood waste, which is generated during the preparation of material and the construction of such buildings, has always been a challenge for us. We have been searching for solution how to make good use of every smallest piece of wood waste. This challenge lead to idea of setting up cogeneration (CHP) on wood biomass and production of wooden pellets.

Soles pellets

Soles pellets are produced in Slovenia from locally sourced spruce and fir wood fines (pieces and wood fragments). They are a highly efficient and environmentally friendly energy source, certified in accordance with the highest Slovenian and European standards. They are easy to use, have high energy efficiency and low waste. The pellets are suitable for use in both individual houses as well as in larger industrial or public heating systems.

Pellets differ from each other in terms of technical properties, which are reflected in efficiency, strength, amount of ash, etc. The simplest comparison is made possible by quality certificates awarded by accredited institutions. Slovenian Soles wood pellets meet the highest Slovenian and European quality standards. Their quality is also regularly monitored through internal controls in the production process.

Sustainability

Furthermore, we also supply some users in Kočevje with the surplus electricity generated.
